The secretariat will inform the candidates of the exact beginning of the course and its time schedule.

The application is not binding and can be cancelled in writing by mail, fax or in person berfore the beginning of the course.

There is no limit to the number of courses a student may attend  provided he/se has the admission requirements.

Trial period
As specified in the footnote of the application form, the first two lessons of each course are to be considered as a trial period. The student may freely attend the first two lessons of any course so as to evaluate its program and methods. If at the end of the trial period the student does not cancel his/her admission request, he/she is however committed to pay the cost of the course(s) he/se has applied even if he/she stops attending the lessons.

Carring out
Each course is carried out on condition that after the trial period at least 3 or 4 students confirm their registration. Courses without the minimum number of registered students can be carried out at prices and times to be agreed.

Cost of courses and payment method
Prices change depending on the course. To know the cost of one or more course you are kindly requested to write an email. The cost of the course does not include the expenses to buy the materials needed to do exercises and homeworks: paper, fabric, leather and other materials for prototypes, drawing materials and in general all materials needed to attend the course if those available at school are not to student's liking. The cost of the course, moreover, does not include the expenses for travelling and visiting exhibitions, fairs etc.

The 50% of the cost of the course must be paid at the end of the trial period, as above described. The 50% remaining must be settled in monthly instalments before the end of the course. The school reserves the right of not admitting at the lessons the student who is not up-to-date with payments.

Attendance
Attendance is mandatory. Students with 70% attendance rate or lesser will not be admitted to sit for the final examination.
Generally each course has two lessons a week, either in the morning (9:00 - 12:00) or in the evening (18:00 - 21:00). Courses start between the end of September and the beginning of October. All courses end in June with the final examination.
Lessons are suspended for about two weeks at Christmas and for one week at Easter.

Foreign students

All lessons are taught in italian. We therefore suggest a basic knowledge of this language before starting the course (see above).

Foreign students needing an Italian visa should contact the nearest Italian Consulate. The procedure being different in each country, the student can contact the school for more information. Reference letters and proof of application and deposits made will be provided by the school once the course fee is fully paid.

If the visa should not be granted, all fees minus bank charges will be reimboursed.

Upon arrival in Italy, foreign students must apply for the "Permesso di Soggiorno" (Permission of Temporary Residence). For students coming from countries not belonging to the European Community this requires a proof of the student’s financial means (bank account, credit card) and an health insurance.
